KEORIS END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT
Your licence.
In plain words.
This is the same text as the LICENSE file inside KEORIS.
KEORIS is copyright 2026 Adam Schneider, doing business as Keoris Systems (“we”). All rights reserved. This agreement is between you and us. By installing or using KEORIS you agree to it. If you do not agree, do not install it.
1. The trial
You may install KEORIS and use every feature free for 3 days from first run. After that, KEORIS keeps opening, keeps answering your questions by keyboard and voice, and keeps recording ideas; the other features wait for a licence. Ending the trial deletes nothing: your data stays where it was.
2. What a licence gives you
A licence key lets one person, or one household, use KEORIS on up to 5 PCs you own or use. It never expires.
- Operator licence: you get every version we release in the 12 months after you first activate your key (for a key we send you by email, the 12 months after we issue it), and you may keep using those versions forever. A version released after that window stays limited to chat, voice and ideas until you activate a new Operator licence.
- Founding Operator licence: you get every version we ever release.
3. What you may not do
- Share, sell or publish your licence key, or let people outside your household use it.
- Get around, disable or change the trial or the licence check.
- Copy, change, or hand out KEORIS's code, or build a product from it. The program files on your PC are for running KEORIS, not a licence to its source.
- You may share the unchanged KEORIS installer. It starts its own trial.
4. Your accounts and your AI
KEORIS can use AI models on your PC (for example Ollama) and services you sign in to yourself (for example Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Codex). Those services belong to their makers and have their own terms, and you are responsible for following them. KEORIS is not made, endorsed or supported by Anthropic or OpenAI. AI answers can be wrong. Check anything important before you act on it. You are responsible for the actions you approve KEORIS to take on your PC.
5. Jobs
Jobs let Claude Code or Codex work on your PC on their own, with no questions asked. KEORIS asks you to allow Jobs once, before the first job runs. Allow Jobs only if you are comfortable with that.
- A job starts in the folder you pick (or in Documents\KEORIS Jobs if you pick none). It can read, create, change and delete files, and run commands. A Codex job can change files only in that folder, and its commands have no internet, but it can read files elsewhere on your PC, and what it reads goes to OpenAI. Codex may also mark that folder as trusted in your own Codex settings. A Claude Code job has the same reach you have at a terminal: it can read, change and run anything your Windows account can, including other folders and the internet.
- Jobs run through the Claude Code or Codex that you installed and signed in to yourself, under your own Claude or ChatGPT account. KEORIS never sees that sign-in. That provider's terms, usage limits and data handling apply to every job, and the provider decides what your plan covers.
- A job sends your request, and whatever it reads while it works (files, command output, anything it opens), to the provider you picked.
- KEORIS switches off your connected apps for jobs, keeps Codex's changes to the folder you pick, and Stop ends the job's own programs. These limits make jobs safer, but they cannot catch everything. KEORIS cannot guarantee that a Claude Code job will not change files outside its folder or run other commands. Stopping a job does not undo what it already did, or cancel anything it set up to run later.
- Keep backups, check a job's work before you rely on it, and only start a job you are willing to have done. You are responsible for the jobs you start and their results.
6. Privacy
KEORIS runs on your PC and sends no usage data to us. It connects to other services to download what it runs on (its speech and voice models, on first launch and during voice setup) and for the features you use. For example, activating a store licence key sends the key and this PC's name to our store, Lemon Squeezy, and KEORIS checks GitHub for a newer version when it starts. Claude Code and Codex are separate programs and may send their own usage data to Anthropic and OpenAI under those makers' policies. Our privacy notice at keoris.dev/privacy.html lists what leaves your PC and when.
7. Refunds
If KEORIS is not right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase through the store's receipt or hello@keoris.dev. A refunded key stops being yours to use.
8. No warranty
KEORIS is provided as is, without any warranty, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it is free of errors, fit for any particular purpose, or that it works with every PC, plan, or version of the services it connects to.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost data, damaged files or lost profits, and including loss caused by a job or by an AI service you use with KEORIS. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence.
10. Ending this agreement
This agreement ends if you break it. You must then stop using KEORIS and delete it. Sections 8 and 9 still apply.
11. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA.
12. Other software
KEORIS includes open-source components. Each is covered by its own licence, and nothing here limits your rights under those licences. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the KEORIS install folder lists them. KEORIS does not include Claude Code or Codex. You install those yourself, under their own terms.
